License Search for A California Security Guard or Registration for a Proprietary Private Security Officer – Check if either a California Guard Card is current/active or if a Proprietary Private Security Officer registration is current/active.

Once cleared, print your cleared security guard status and present it to your prospective employer for employment.

California Security Officer Online Licensing Renewal – submit initial applications, renew registrations, request duplicate registrations, and make address changes.

Note: You do not need your actual guard card in hand to apply for employment just the print out is sufficient. After the cleared status you will receive your actual guard card in the mail in approximately 10 to 15 days.
